   • Secret: You were adopted. The fire wasn’t an accident.
   • Goal: Find the truth behind your identity — and why they buried you alive.

2. The Keeper of the Archives (You’re the estate’s archivist — and you’ve been altering the records for years.)

   • Traits: Calm, meticulous, always wearing gloves.
   • Secret: You’re not human. You’re a memory construct, bound to the house.
   • Goal: Prevent the house from devouring another soul — or become its new guardian.

3. The Dreamwalker (You’ve been dreaming of Blackthorn Manor for years — even before you were born.)

   • Traits: Sleeps with your eyes open. Speaks in riddles.
   • Secret: You were born inside the house. You’ve lived here in dreams for centuries.
   • Goal: Wake up — or choose to stay forever in the dream.

4. The Stranger in the Fog (You arrived at the gate with no memory. Your name is not on any record.)

   • Traits: Wears a pocket watch that doesn’t tick.
   • Secret: You’re a version of them — the one who should have died in the fire.
   • Goal: Survive long enough to find out which version of yourself is real.

• Puzzle layers: You’ll decode hidden messages in letters, align mirrors to reveal secret passages, interpret dreams as maps, and even reverse-engineer time in some endings.
• Multiple timelines exist. Some paths lead to rebirth. Others to erasure.

  • The True Closure (unlock only after solving 3 hidden puzzles)
