Craft pixel art, animate sprites, and modify game textures with Inktica!
Design pixel art using Inktica – a robust yet intuitive pixel art editor. With Inktica, you can produce artwork inspired by the low-resolution visuals of early computers and gaming consoles, or adjust in-game textures.
Inktica offers specialized tools for precise pixel-level image editing. Available drawing tools include Brush, Eraser, Flood-fill, Gradient, Line, Rectangle, Ellipse, and Pipette, all optimized for pixel art. Features like the "pixel perfect" brush algorithm help you draw clean single-pixel-wide lines.
Use Inktica's selection tool to copy, cut, move, and paste sections of your artwork or textures. You can also rotate or flip selections before pasting them.
Inktica supports layers, allowing you to organize your pixel art and edit specific elements with ease.
Bring your sprites to life using built-in animation tools. When animating, the onion skin feature lets you compare the current frame with the previous one for smooth transitions.
Inktica includes color palettes inspired by classic consoles like the Atari 2600, NES, and Game Boy. You can also import custom palettes from Lospec.
While drawing, you can open a reference image from your gallery to compare your work with the original source.
Once your artwork is complete, share it on social media or export it to your device. Export options include upscaling to prevent blurriness on non-pixel-art platforms.
Inktica also lets you edit existing pixel art from other tools. It supports importing Aseprite files (.ase, .aseprite) and common image formats like PNG, JPEG, and GIF.
