Tarneeb is a card game for two teams, each consisting of two players sitting opposite each other. The game uses a standard 52-card deck, and play proceeds counter-clockwise. Each player attempts to estimate the number of "Allmat" (tricks) their team will win in each round.

The player who wins the bid to declare "Tarneeb" throws a type of paper onto the floor. Other players must then throw the same type of paper. The first to successfully match the paper type wins the "Bamh." If a player doesn't have a matching paper, they forfeit and the "Tarneeb" option goes to the next player. "Tarneeb" papers are more powerful than other papers; the player who throws the strongest "Tarneeb" paper wins, unless a stronger one is played.

The round ends when all players have played their cards. Points are awarded based on the bidding team's success in obtaining their estimated number of "Allmat." If they meet or exceed their bid, they add the number of "Allmat" won to their score. If they fail, the number of "Allmat" they obtained is added to the opposing team's score, and the bidding team loses points.

If either team wins 13 tricks without bidding for 13, 16 points are added to their score. If a team bids for and achieves 13 tricks, they gain 26 points. Conversely, if a team bids for 13 tricks and fails, they lose 16 points.

The game concludes when one team reaches a total score of 41 or more points. That team is declared the winner.
