Feb 21,26

PlatyGuard: Swarm Slayer is a fresh action roguelike now available on Android, developed by ChillyRoom—the studio behind popular titles like Soul Knight, Meow Hunter, and Inkvasion.

Parry Counter x Action Roguelike

Set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland steeped in biopunk and dark sci-fi, the game plunges you into a world of Hive portals, corporate collapses, and grotesque insectoid horrors that have obliterated humanity’s vision of the future.

You take on the role of one of many Platyguards, venturing into the ruins. Choose from over a dozen unique heroes, each with distinct playstyles: some excel at precise parries, others thrive in brutal combo-driven brawls, while some favor dodge-and-shoot tactics. Charged attacks, stealthy mobility, and other specialized mechanics further deepen the combat.

PlatyGuard: Swarm Slayer fills every run with hundreds of skills, items, and explosive synergies—think magic-heavy builds and lightning storms that wipe the screen clean. Everything becomes viable if you can survive long enough.

Spanning six vast zones, the wasteland alternates between crumbling shelters and plague-ravaged zones, featuring diverse hazards and over 50 enemy types. Elite foes and bosses arrive with relentless aggression.

The developers designed the combat to be sharp, fast, and reactive—perfectly matching the core loop of identifying weaknesses, dodging attacks, countering strikes, and shattering enemy defenses before delivering the final blow.

The launch includes a minor update: Lark’s technique now allows thrown shurikens to parry targets or deflect incoming projectiles. Prophecy – Build Ban has been expanded to let you lock out unwanted builds right from the stage’s starting room. Drone range is no longer hindered by obstacles.
