Enhanced Accessibility and Quality of Life Improvements
Remedy Entertainment expressed gratitude to fans, marking the game's one-year anniversary with a substantial free update. The update, arriving October 22nd alongside The Lake House expansion, significantly enhances accessibility. New options include infinite ammo and one-hit kills. Improved DualSense functionality on PS5 adds haptic feedback for healing items and throwable objects, along with the ability to invert horizontal axis controls.
The Anniversary Update also incorporates numerous quality-of-life (QoL) improvements based on player feedback. Remedy highlighted their continued dedication to Alan Wake 2, citing the development of both Night Springs and The Lake House expansions, as well as incorporating player suggestions into this significant update.
