Planning Ahead: What’s Next After The Warsong Update

Despite the recent launch of The Warsong Update, Supergiant Games is already laying the groundwork for the third major update, set to be revealed "some months from now," as outlined in their Steam news post. While specific details remain under wraps, the team confirmed that Hades II will remain in Early Access for the foreseeable future. They also noted, however, that the foundational structure of both the Underworld and Surface routes is largely complete, allowing them to focus on expanding and refining existing content.

Once all post-Warsong patches are live, development efforts will center around:

⚫︎ Hidden Aspects: Uncover the remaining secrets of the Nocturnal Arms, with plans to eventually make them playable.
⚫︎ Enhanced Guardians: Improve boss battles to offer deeper challenges and more surprises for seasoned players.
⚫︎ Expanded Story: Continue building out Melinoë’s narrative and deepen character relationships and subplots.
