Zenless Zone Zero unveils a new spotlight on Astra Yao, delving into her compelling backstory. MiHoYo (HoYoverse) continues its character introductions, this time focusing on the popular singer and part-time on-air personality.

A newly released animated short explores Astra Yao's past, showcasing her participation in a benefit concert held in remembrance of a devastating cavern collapse. Following a tense exchange with a reporter, the story shifts to reveal impactful events from her history.

Astra Yao is featured in the first character banner of Zenless Zone Zero 1.5, while Evelyn Chevalier takes center stage in the second.

The 1.5 update also includes the customary miHoYo (HoYoverse) Polychrome compensation. Players receive 300 Polychromes for bug fixes and another 300 for technical improvements related to the update. These rewards are delivered via in-game mail.

Introducing Agent Astra Yao (Air, Support), a new S-rank agent. Beyond her singing career, Astra Yao is a formidable support agent. Her abilities restore ally HP and provide substantial damage boosts, facilitating more frequent attack chains and quick assists, leading to significant enemy damage.
