Atakhan consistently spawns at the 20-minute mark, which has shifted Baron Nashor's spawn to the 25-minute mark, altering the game's mid-to-late phase dynamics.

Atakhan's Pit Location

Atakhan's Pit, the arena for his battles, emerges in the river at the 14-minute mark. Its exact location—either near the Top Lane or Bot Lane—is determined by the side of the map with the highest amount of damage and kills up to that point. This gives teams a crucial 6-minute window to strategize and prepare for the confrontation. The pit features two permanent small walls, intensifying the skirmishes around Atakhan.

Conversely, in high-action games, Ruinous Atakhan appears. The key difference between these forms lies in the buffs they offer upon defeat.

Voracious Atakhan, suited for less action-packed games, provides a buff that incentivizes the slaying team to engage in combat:

• Each team member earns an additional 40 gold for every champion takedown, including assists, for the remainder of the game.
• A one-time death mitigation is granted to all team members, lasting 150 seconds. Upon activation, instead of dying, the champion enters stasis for 2 seconds before returning to base after an additional 3.5 seconds. The would-be killer receives 100 gold and 1 Blood Petal for their team.

Ruinous Atakhan's Buff In League Of Legends

Ruinous Atakhan, appearing in more intense games, offers a scaling buff to the team that defeats him:

• A 25% increase in rewards from all Epic Monsters, including retroactively for previously taken objectives, lasts for the entire game.
• Each team member gains 6 Blood Petals.
• Following Ruinous Atakhan's defeat, 6 Large and 6 Small Blood Rose Plants sprout around his pit, allowing the team to strategically distribute additional stats.

What Are Blood Roses & Petals In League Of Legends

Blood Roses are a new type of plant introduced on the Rift, spawning near champion deaths and Atakhan's Pit, especially after Ruinous Atakhan is defeated. By destroying these plants, champions collect permanent Blood Petals, a stacking buff that offers:

• 25 XP, with the potential to double for players with a lower K/D/A ratio.
• 1 Adaptive Force, which converts into either Attack Damage (AD) or Ability Power (AP) based on the champion's needs.

There are two sizes of Blood Roses:

• Small Blood Roses yield 1 Blood Petal.
• Large Blood Roses yield 3 Blood Petals.
