May 05,25

Battlecruisers is celebrating its fourth anniversary with a bang! Mecha Weka, the game's developers, have just released their most significant update yet, dubbed the 'Trans Edition.' This update brings a wave of fresh content, enhancing both single-player and multiplayer experiences in the game.

What’s in Store in Battlecruisers 6.4 Trans Edition?

The 'Trans Edition' introduces three new cruisers to the battlefield: Goatherd, Pistol, and Megalith. Additionally, players can now utilize two new buildings, Cannon and Sledgehammer, alongside two new units, SpyPlane and MissileFighter. Existing cruisers are also receiving an upgrade with three new bodykits: Longbow Fringe, Rickshaw Scathis, and Yeti Corpse Piler, offering fresh customization options.

New gameplay modes include the ability to select Man o’ War, Huntress Prime, and Fortress Prime in Skirmishes. PvP matches now feature an exciting countdown start and aircraft trails that match the player's colors, adding to the visual spectacle.

The update also includes extensive balancing changes. For instance, the Raptor's shield build and recharge rate have been enhanced from 3x to 5x, and the Hammerhead's health has increased from 4000 to 4200. The ShipTurret's damage has been boosted from 40 to 60, albeit with a reduced range from 19 to 16.

Visual enhancements are another highlight of the 'Trans Edition.' Players can now enjoy underwater transparency, making it easier to admire the wreckage of defeated foes. The sea itself boasts new shading, and cruiser and ship deaths are now more visually appealing.

Played the Game Yet?

Since its inception in 2021, Battlecruisers has consistently rolled out major updates annually. The Trans Edition continues this tradition, introducing more side quests and the intriguing Battlefortress hidden somewhere in the South Pacific.

Set in a Flooded Earth in the year 2732, the game features a world dominated by robots engaged in construction and wage wars. Players command their own Battlecruiser, equipping it with turrets, nuke launchers, and ultraweapons to tackle a formidable array of enemies.
