Camping Guide for Atelier Yumia: Alchemist of Memories
Embarking on your journey through the Ligneus Region in *Atelier Yumia* alongside Yumia and her companions, you'll soon discover the joys of setting up camp. This feature lets you engage in meaningful conversations with your friends, but knowing exactly where and when to set up camp can be a bit tricky. Let's break down how to camp in *Atelier Yumia* to enhance your adventure.
How to Craft a Camping Set in Atelier Yumia
Unlocking the ability to craft Camping Sets becomes available through Simple Synthesis after you've cleared the manabound Dux Lighthouse. This is the first manabound area Yumia encounters in the story. Once you've established a base on the newly revealed land, return to the Ligneus Survey Base and have a chat with Erhard to unlock the camping feature.
To craft a Camping Set, you'll need the following materials, all of which can be easily found around the Ligneus Survey Base:
- 5% Energy
- 3 Wood
- 2 Water
- 5 Fiber
- 2 Charcoal
Water can be collected from wells scattered across the region, or you can harvest it along with fiber from plants by the rivers. Charcoal is produced when you break down ore.
Once you have gathered these materials, navigate to the Simple Synthesis menu. Ensure you have a 4×4 space available in your inventory before crafting the Camping Set. If space is an issue, the Camping Set will be sent to your stash at the Atelier or one of your bases.
Where to Camp in Atelier Yumia
With your Camping Set ready, you can pitch your tent anywhere there's an open expanse of land. Avoid narrow cliffs and dense forests; instead, look for more spacious areas. There are numerous designated campsites, such as the River Campsite near the Ligneus Survey Base, where you can set up a small base and camp.
If you have a Camping Set in your Exploration Bag, you can check the radial menu. If the Camping option in the bottom right corner is highlighted, you're good to set up camp. If it's greyed out, you'll need to find a more suitable spot.
What to Do While Camping in Atelier Yumia
Camping isn't just about resting; it's your only opportunity to cook the delicious foods you've gathered during your explorations. It's crucial to find a good spot to camp before tackling a boss or venturing into a manabound area, especially on higher difficulty levels.
Moreover, camping provides a unique chance to deepen your bonds with your companions through special dialogues. These conversations, while not pivotal to the main storyline, enrich your understanding of your fellow adventurers.
And that's everything you need to know about camping in *Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & The Envisioned Land*. Enjoy your journey and the moments of rest and connection that camping brings.
*Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & The Envisioned Land* is now available on PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
