Gamescom Latam 2024 Crowns "What the Car?" Best Mobile Game

Gamescom Latam, the inaugural gaming event held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, successfully showcased Latin America's burgeoning gaming scene and celebrated global industry achievements. A key highlight was the game awards ceremony, a collaboration with the BIG Festival, featuring a prestigious presentation of winners across various categories.

Thirteen categories were contested, with finalists selected by a panel of 49 judges. All nominees were playable at the Sao Paulo Expo, notably with mobile and PC games showcased together, rather than in separate sections, emphasizing the equal importance of both platforms.

The "Best Mobile Game" award was highly anticipated, ultimately claimed by Triband ApS's "What the Car?". This win further underscores the game's quality, previously highlighted in an article featuring ten lesser-known but exceptional games. Its success might necessitate an update to that list!
