After numerous delays, the much-anticipated mobile version of Cassette Beasts has finally been released globally on Android. Developed by Bytten Studio and published by Raw Fury, this game arrives on mobile platforms two years after its initial PC launch.

Let me introduce you to Cassette Beasts. If you're unfamiliar with cassettes, those nostalgic music carriers from yesteryears, a quick Google search might enlighten you.

Play the Cassette Beasts on Your Player

In Cassette Beasts, you find yourself stranded on the enigmatic island of New Wirral, a place that feels out of time and reality. Here, monsters roam freely, and inhabitants transform into creatures to combat these threats, all powered by cassette tapes.

Your mission is to survive on the island and find a way back home. To achieve this, you'll need to use your cassette player to record the monsters you encounter. Once recorded, you can play back these tapes to transform into the monsters themselves.

Forge strong bonds with the residents of Harbourtown, and you'll unlock the ability to fuse monster forms with your partner, creating unique and powerful hybrids. With the potential to combine any two monsters, the possibilities are virtually limitless.

There’s a Whole World to Explore

New Wirral is brimming with dungeons, puzzles, and secret areas that you can only access with the right monster abilities. Whether you're gliding over cliffs, swimming through mysterious waters, scaling seemingly impossible walls, or even turning magnetic, the island offers a vast playground for exploration.

The game features a turn-based combat system with an intriguing elemental chemistry mechanic. By strategically combining different types, you can manipulate your enemies, enhance your team's abilities, or even alter an opponent's elemental type during battle.

Cassette Beasts supports Bluetooth controllers, though you might encounter minor issues. The game is free to play, so if you're curious, you can download it from the Google Play Store.
