Sony Pictures has thrillingly announced that Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc will be slashing its way into US theaters on October 29, 2025. This exciting news came during Sony's CinemaCon presentation, where they revealed acquiring worldwide theatrical rights for the film, excluding Japan. Fans across the US can mark their calendars for a late October treat, while over 80 countries will get their chance to see the movie starting September 24, 2025. In Japan, Toho will handle the release on September 19, 2025.

Originally announced in December 2023, the movie is a direct sequel to the MAPPA-produced anime series that debuted in 2022. It continues the story of Denji, a young man who, after a life-altering deal with the Chainsaw Devil dog Pochita, gains the extraordinary ability to sprout chainsaws from various parts of his body. As Denji evolves, he becomes much more than just a Chainsaw Man.

Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc will introduce fans to a new character, Reze, who plays a pivotal role in the original manga. Directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara and written by Hiroshi Seko, the film brings back the entire voice cast from the anime series to reprise their roles, ensuring a seamless transition from screen to cinema.
