The HP bar indicates your current health; if it drops to zero, your Chaser is defeated and can no longer fight.

This energy regenerates over time or can be quickly replenished using Energy drones found while exploring dungeons. Controls involve a virtual movement wheel for mobile players, while PC users can leverage the precision of keyboard and mouse controls via BlueStacks.
