Excitement is building for fans of the iconic turn-based 4X strategy game, Sid Meier's Civilization VII, as Firaxis Games and publisher 2K have announced a robust post-launch plan. The first downloadable content (DLC), titled "Crossroads of the World," is set to launch in two exciting installments in March. In the initial phase, players will have the opportunity to lead both Great Britain and Carthage, encountering the pioneering computer scientist Ada Lovelace as a new leader. Just three weeks later, the second phase will introduce Simon Bolivar as a leader, alongside the fresh civilizations of Bulgaria and Nepal.

Looking ahead, the "Right to Rule" DLC is slated for release in the second or third quarter of 2025 (April to September). This expansion promises to enrich the game further with two additional leaders, four new civilizations, and captivating natural wonders.

Firaxis is committed to enhancing Civilization VII with a variety of new challenges and events. Come March, players can anticipate new in-game events alongside natural wonders such as the enigmatic Bermuda Triangle and the majestic Mount Everest.

Early access will be granted to Deluxe and Founders Edition owners starting February 6, five days before the official release.
