Clash of Clans is set to roll out a monumental update in March 2025, fulfilling long-standing player requests by introducing some of the most significant changes in the game's history. Many features that have been part of the game for years are set to be removed, paving the way for a more streamlined and engaging experience.

No Troop, Spell or Siege Machine Training Time!

Imagine diving into back-to-back battles without any wait time. That's right—training times for Troops, Spells, and Siege Machines are being completely eliminated. This change will make battles feel more fast-paced and exciting than ever before. Additionally, Hero recovery time is also being removed, ensuring your heroes are always ready to fight. This update applies to players in Titan League and below, while Legend League players will continue with their eight-battle limit per day for now.

This significant shift is a part of Supercell's broader initiative to remove outdated mechanics from Clash of Clans. After removing training costs in 2022, eliminating training times is the next step in allowing players to enjoy the game without artificial barriers.

With these changes, Training Potions and Training Treats will become obsolete and are being phased out. They will no longer be available in in-app purchase bundles, and any remaining in player inventories will be converted into Gems.

There’s a New Match Anytime System!

The March 2025 update introduces the Match Anytime system, allowing you to engage in battles even when there aren’t enough real bases available. You'll be able to attack snapshot bases, which are saved versions of real player bases currently under Shield. These battles function just like normal ones, where you can earn loot and trophies, but the defender won’t lose anything. This system, already successful in Clan Wars and Legend League attacks, is now expanding to multiplayer battles.

To balance out the increased number of battles per session, adjustments are being made to Trophy Curves, reducing the number of trophies earned from victories. Additionally, Clan Castle request timers are being standardized at 10 minutes for all players, making coordination easier and more efficient.
