In Freedom Wars Remastered, customizing your loadout for various operations is key to success. While major elements like weapons and Thrones are less frequently swapped, Combat Items are essential consumables that serve a multitude of purposes and are limited in quantity.

You may receive additional Combat Items as rewards for completing operations, but often, the quantities won't suffice for subsequent missions. At the start of the game, you're limited to equipping just one Combat Item. Here's how you can address both issues effectively.

How To Equip More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered

To increase your Combat Item slots, you'll need to acquire specific Entitlements. While in your cell, access the Window On Liberty and select "Claim Entitlements". Navigate to the Equipment section, then tab over to the right to find the One-Item Permit at the top. Each subsequent permit below this will allow you to equip an additional Combat Item, up to a maximum of four.

These story-based Entitlements become available quite early in the game, and you can purchase all four by reaching CODE level 3. Note that later permits will only appear after you've purchased the previous ones. When equipping a Combat Item, such as a Frag Grenade, you'll be able to use the entire stack you have at the start of an operation.

Additionally, your Accessory can carry one Combat Item, which can be used at your discretion.

Where To Get More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered

As you progress beyond the initial missions, you'll unlock The Warren, a central HUB area. Inside The Warren, you'll find Zakka, a store located on the upper story along the right side. Apart from weapons, Zakka offers a "Buy Items" option, allowing you to purchase from the Munitions and Medical Supplies lists.

  • Munitions - These are items designed to inflict direct damage on enemies during combat.
  • Medical Supplies - These include items that heal, cure ailments, or replenish ammunition.

Each Combat Item is priced individually, and purchasing large quantities can quickly deplete your Entitlement Points. Stocking up on Medkits might necessitate donating old resources. While operations may occasionally reward you with Combat Items, relying on this method for farming isn't efficient due to the time required and the risk of using more items than you gain.
