Crunchyroll Drops Roguelike Rhythm Game Crypt Of The NecroDancer On Android

Jan 04,25

Crunchyroll brings the rhythm-based roguelike, Crypt of the NecroDancer, to Android! Now available as "Crunchyroll: NecroDancer," this beat-matching adventure challenges players to move and attack in sync with the music. Failure to keep the rhythm means game over!

Originally launched on PC in 2015, and previously available on iOS and Android, this Crunchyroll release boasts enhanced content for mobile.

What awaits you in the Crypt?

Players take on the role of Cadence, a treasure hunter's daughter, searching for her missing parent within a rhythmically-infused crypt. Each playthrough is unique, offering replayability with 15 playable characters, each possessing distinct styles and challenges. The game features Danny Baranowsky's original soundtrack, providing an epic backdrop to your dungeon-crawling dance-off against enemies ranging from skeletons to hip-hop dragons.

More Than Just a Port:

This mobile version isn't just a simple port; it includes remixes, new content, and even Danganronpa character skins! Enjoy cross-platform multiplayer and mod support. Further exciting news: Hatsune Miku DLC and the Synchrony expansion are slated for release later this year.

Crunchyroll subscribers can download Crypt of the NecroDancer now from the Google Play Store. Stay tuned for more gaming news, including the upcoming Star Trek Lower Decks x Doctor Who crossover!
