Defend Your Evil Lair in Castle Doombad: Free To Slay, Now Out on Android!

Jan 24,25

Castle Doombad is back! The popular tower defense strategy game, originally released in 2014, returns as Castle Doombad: Free To Slay on Android. Developed by Grumpyface Studios and published by Yodo1, this mobile version offers a fresh take on the classic.

Grumpyface, known for hits like Steven Universe: Attack the Light and Teeny Titans, initially planned a single Castle Doombad remake. However, they decided to create two versions: Free To Slay for mobile and Castle Doombad Classic, a remastered edition with updated content, launching later this year on Nintendo Switch and Steam. A sequel, Castle Doombad 2: Muahaha!, is also in development.

Unleash Your Inner Evil!

In Castle Doombad: Free To Slay, you'll build a wicked lair and defend it against heroic do-gooders. Your arsenal? Traps and minions!

This free-to-play game (with ads and optional in-app purchases) includes the original 70 stages, daily challenges, endless modes, over 30 unlockable and upgradeable traps, and more than 100 collectible items. A customizable cosmetic system, "spoils," lets you personalize your Dark Lord and his lair with evil artifacts and loot, which can be combined with "Baddie Bonus" perks.

A new roguelite mode, "Dr. Lord Evilstein's Roguevenge," adds randomly generated castle layouts and collectible Nightmares that provide unique villainous powers. Download Castle Doombad: Free To Slay from the Google Play Store today!
