Digimon's latest venture into the mobile gaming scene was unveiled at DIGIMON CON 2025, introducing fans to the new mobile TCG, Digimon Alysion. This exciting announcement follows the success of other mobile card games like Pokémon TCG Pocket and Marvel Snap, aiming to broaden Digimon's TCG audience with a digital twist. Digimon Alysion is set to be a free-to-play game where players can collect, build, and battle with cards featuring beloved Digimon and characters from the franchise. What sets Digimon Alysion apart is its inclusion of an in-depth story mode, promising a richer experience beyond typical and competitive gameplay.

During the livestream on March 20, Bandai Namco showcased a trailer for Digimon Alysion, offering glimpses of gameplay and introducing an all-female cast speculated to be part of the story mode. New characters include Kanata Hondo, Futre, and Valner Dragnogh, along with a new Digimon named Gemmon. While an official release date remains under wraps, the presentation hinted at an upcoming closed beta test, with more details to be announced soon.
