While *Split Fiction* presents a straightforward and linear co-op adventure, the game offers numerous opportunities to explore beyond the main storyline through what are known as Side Stories. Although these are optional, they house some of the game's most memorable moments, such as transforming into pigs or participating in a deadly game show. Completing all 12 Side Stories not only enriches your experience but also unlocks the Bookworms achievement. Here's your guide to uncovering every Side Story within *Split Fiction*.

How To Find All Side Stories in Split Fiction

Within Chapters 2 through 5, you'll encounter a total of 12 Side Stories, with three in each chapter. Here's how to locate each one:

• Legend of the Sandfish – Encountered naturally in Chapter 2 after the Rush Hour section. You can't miss it.
• Farmlife – Found in Chapter 2 during the Streets of Neon section. Look for it after hopping over a small barrier, but before you use the elevators on the left.
• Mountain Hike – The final Side Story in Chapter 2, located in the Big City Life section. When you reach the Port-A-Pottys, have Mio enter one, then use Zoe to throw her to the opposite ledge with a small ladder. Have Mio drop the ladder to access this story.
• Train Heist – The first Side Story in Chapter 3, found in the Lord Evergreen section. While navigating the water using a plank, you'll find it on a ledge that requires Mio and Zoe to wall run to reach.
• Gameshow – Located in Chapter 3's Walking Sticks of Doom section. After the side-scrolling part, engage in some minor platforming to reach the Side Story on a platform.
• Collapsing Star – The last Side Story in Chapter 3, found in the Halls of Ice section. It's on the main path and impossible to miss.
• Kites – The first Side Story in Chapter 4, located at the end of the long tube in the Toxic Tumblers section.
• Moon Market – In Chapter 4's Test Chamber section, find it on a ledge to the left after opening the door following the crane sequence. A bit of platforming will get you there.
• Notebook – The final Side Story in Chapter 4, found in the Soaring Desperados section. After obtaining the jetpack, hover over to the left-hand side of the room, avoiding the giant wheel.
• Slopes of War – The first Side Story in Chapter 5, located in the Water Temple section. After hatching your dragons, solve the lever puzzle on the left post-golden balls to unlock it.
• Space Escape – The penultimate Side Story in Chapter 5, found in the Craft Temple section. After defeating the dragon, launch Mio to the ledge using her glide and Zoe’s roll. Have Mio drop a column for Zoe to climb.
• Birthday Cake – The last Side Story in *Split Fiction*, found in Chapter 5's Treasure Temple section. Complete the soul puzzle, and the story will be on your left.
