Post-apocalyptic mystery game Dreadmoor adds fishing twist

Nov 08,25

Developer Dream Dock unveils Dreadmoor, an atmospheric first-person action-adventure inspired by 2023's acclaimed Dredge. This single-player experience casts players as a lone trawler captain fishing, exploring, and battling creatures while uncovering dark secrets in the post-apocalyptic Drownlands. Currently in development for PC, Dreadmoor promises crafting systems, boat upgrades, and eerie encounters with the unknown.

According to Dream Dock's official description: "Take command of your fishing vessel and navigate a flooded world forever changed by nuclear devastation. Now a scattering of islands among drowned ruins, these waters hide both opportunity and terror. Trade your catches with desperate survivors, complete crucial missions, and upgrade your trawler to withstand the horrors beneath. But beware - these waters have teeth. Between mutated predators, rival scavengers, and the ever-present radiation, danger lurks in every depth. The deepest waters hide the deadliest secrets... particularly when darkness falls."
