Industry insider Tom Henderson, analyzing EA's past release schedules, predicts an October or November 2025 release for the new Battlefield title. However, EA remains tight-lipped about specific launch dates.

Development is underway across four of EA's internal studios, with extensive playtesting planned. A closed beta program has already been announced, providing crucial early feedback to shape the game before its public debut.

This announcement also clarifies the future of the Need for Speed franchise. Vince Zampella previously indicated that a new NFS installment is not imminent, as the Battlefield project currently holds top priority.
