Path of Exile 2's latest update, 0.1.1c, addresses several key issues and introduces notable improvements. The Grinding Gear Games team has detailed the fixes and additions implemented in this significant patch.

Here's a summary of the changes:

  • Bug Fixes: The update resolves a bug preventing access to the Cartwalker Machine after character transfers from solo league. Various bugs in local co-op mode, such as Player 2 unlocking Player 1's UI elements (e.g., high-level maps) and movement restrictions between control points, have also been addressed.

  • Increased Revival Attempts: Players now have up to five revival attempts in challenging areas: Distorted Possessions, the Olroth encounter, and the Essence of Nonexistence realm. Difficulty level determines the number of attempts. In The Mists, death before defeating the Host results in revival within the boss arena, restarting the fight.

  • Improved Service: A welcome addition allows players to rename their characters directly through the official website.

Grinding Gear Games continues to maintain a strong presence atop the Steam charts following Path of Exile 2's launch. While initial release issues were acknowledged, the developers' commitment to ongoing improvements is evident through this substantial update.
