Streamer Asmongold has issued a challenge to Ilon Musk, questioning the authenticity of Musk's claim to have leveled a hero to 97 in Path of Exile 2's permanent death mode. Asmongold has promised to stream all his broadcasts on X for a year if Musk can prove he achieved this feat himself.

"Has Ilon Musk played on this account up to level 97? The answer is very simple: no. Unequivocally, without a doubt. If Ilon Musk can prove that he pumped the hero himself to level 97, I will host all of my broadcasts on X for a year," Asmongold stated.

This challenge comes on the heels of streamer Quin's video, which suggested that Musk paid others to level his character in Path of Exile 2.

Meanwhile, Grinding Gear Games continues to dominate the Steam charts with Path of Exile 2, despite some launch issues. The developers are committed to enhancing the game, as evidenced by the recent release of a video preview for the upcoming patch, version 0.1.1. This update aims to address several minor issues that do not require major changes to the game's economy. Although these are described as "small fixes," their cumulative impact is significant.
