EOS Integration Boosts 'Battle Crush' Gameplay

Dec 10,24

NCSoft has announced the end of service (EOS) for its multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game, Battle Crush, much sooner than anticipated. The game, which launched globally in August 2023 and entered early access in June 2024, will be shutting down on November 29th, 2024. This is surprising given its relatively recent release and ongoing development.

Battle Crush Shutdown Date:

The game servers will be taken offline on November 29th, 2024. In-game purchases have already been halted. However, players who made purchases between June 27th, 2024, and October 23rd, 2024, are eligible for a refund.

Refunds for Android and Steam players can be requested between December 2nd, 2024, and January 2025. Players should download any desired game content before November 28th, 2024, as the game will become inaccessible afterward. The official website will remain online until May 30th, 2025, for any necessary support. Social media and Discord will be deactivated on January 31st, 2025.

Unexpected Closure?

The sudden closure of Battle Crush is disappointing for players who invested time and resources into the game. While enjoyable, the game faced challenges, including somewhat clunky controls and pacing issues. These shortcomings likely contributed to the decision to end service.

Players can still access the game on the Google Play Store before the shutdown. For those seeking a new gaming experience, consider checking out our upcoming coverage of Black Desert Mobile's autumn season, featuring story-driven quests.
