The original Japanese release of ETE Chronicle underwhelmed due to its unexpected turn-based gameplay. However, developer feedback led to a complete overhaul for the Chinese version, resulting in the fast-paced action game ETE Chronicle:Re. This updated version replaces the original, with player purchases from the original game being transferred.

A World in Turmoil:

ETE Chronicle:Re plunges you into a post-apocalyptic future where humanity fights for survival against the Yggdrasil Corporation and their powerful Galar exosuits. The Corporation, utilizing technology derived from extraterrestrial remnants and their Tenkyu orbital base, has devastated the planet.

Hope emerges in the form of the Humanity Alliance, utilizing advanced E.T.E. combat machines piloted by skilled female operatives. As an enforcer, your strategic decisions directly influence the battles and the characters' fates.

Dynamic Real-Time Combat:

Command a team of four characters in fast-paced, half-real-time battles. Quick thinking and adaptability are key as you navigate enemy fire and adjust your strategies on the fly.

While some remain skeptical after the original game's shortcomings—criticizing repetitive combat due to inflexible movement and party control—ETE Chronicle:Re aims to address these issues. Only time will tell if the reboot succeeds.
