Dynabytes' Fantasma: A New AR Multiplayer GPS Adventure

Fantasma, a recently discovered augmented reality (AR) multiplayer GPS adventure game from Dynabytes, is now available on iOS and Android. This exciting game, unveiled at Gamescom Latam, features a recent update adding Japanese, Korean, Malay, and Portuguese language support. Further expansion is planned, with German, Italian, and Spanish coming in the next few months.

The game casts players as fighters against mischievous creatures that plague the world. Players use portable electromagnetic fields as bait to lure these "Fantasmas" into battle. Combat takes place in augmented reality, requiring players to maneuver their phones to keep the Fantasmas in view while tapping the screen to shoot. Defeated Fantasmas are then captured in special bottles.

Fantasmas appear based on real-world location, encouraging exploration. Players can deploy sensors to expand their detection range and attract Fantasmas from further distances. Cooperative gameplay is also supported, allowing players to team up for a more social experience.
