Marvel Contest of Champions unveiled its Fantastic Four-themed content last month, and now, fresh details are fueling excitement for the Fantastic Four: First Steps film hitting theaters on July 25th.

The anticipation for the movie is electric, and the fighting game is amplifying it with a slew of themed events centered on Marvel’s iconic first family. The Future Foundation Event invites players to assist the team by tackling challenges across The Battlerealm, while the “Vaults of Variant” Side Quest, available until July 9th, involves aiding Reed Richards in navigating the Multiverse.

It’s unclear if this hints at the film’s plot—past surprises have taught me caution—but it’s undeniably intriguing.

Additionally, The Maker and High Evolutionary join the roster, available on July 17th and 31st, respectively. Could this be another clue about the movie? We’ll find out soon enough.
