The latest update features small icons of four out of the eight main characters on the website. Clicking on these icons reveals brief descriptions accompanied by new artwork from FF9’s character designer, Toshiyuki Itahana, who is also known for his work on the Crystal Chronicles and Chocobo spinoff series. These descriptions provide insights into each character's role and aspirations within the story.

Garnet's Silver Necklace is now available for pre-order, with an expected release date of November 15. Priced at approximately 38,500 yen, or about $260, this necklace is a must-have for collectors. Similarly, the wearable replica of Vivi's hat is open for reservations, with a planned release on September 6, and it will cost around 17,600 yen, or roughly $120.

The FF9 Acrylic Stand Collection offers eight unique designs, packaged in blind boxes, adding an element of surprise for fans eager to collect them all.
