Consider getting a desk frame here and the desktop surface elsewhere

I have three standing desks. One came with a desktop, but for the other two, I sourced my own. I bought a 74"x26" maple veneered countertop from Ikea for $199 for one, and a 48"x25" solid wood countertop from Home Depot for the other, which I finished myself. There are many options available, and you can customize your desk to your preferences as long as the weight limits are respected.
