Tracking Your Fortnite Spending: A Comprehensive Guide

Fortnite is free, but its enticing skins can lead to significant V-Buck purchases. This guide outlines two methods to monitor your spending and avoid unexpected bank statement surprises. Remember, seemingly small purchases can quickly accumulate.

Method 1: Checking Your Epic Games Store Account

All V-Buck transactions, regardless of platform or payment method, are recorded in your Epic Games Store account. Follow these steps:

  1. Visit the Epic Games Store website and log in.
  2. Click your username (top right).
  3. Select "Account," then "Transactions."
  4. On the "Purchase" tab, scroll through your transactions, clicking "Show More" as needed.
  5. Identify entries labeled "5,000 V-Bucks" (or similar) and note the associated currency amount.
  6. Sum the V-Bucks and currency amounts separately using a calculator to determine your total spending.

Important Considerations:

  • Free weekly game claims will appear as transactions; scroll past these.
  • Redeemed V-Buck card purchases might not display a dollar amount.

Method 2: Utilizing Fortnite.gg

This website, as highlighted by Dot Esports, allows you to manually track your purchases. Note: Fortnite.gg doesn't automatically detect purchases; you must input them.

  1. Go to Fortnite.gg and log in (or create an account).
  2. Navigate to "My Locker."
  3. Manually add each outfit and cosmetic item by clicking on it and then "+ Locker." You can also search for items.
  4. Your locker will then display the total V-Buck value of your acquired cosmetics. Use a V-Buck to dollar converter for an approximate monetary total.

Neither method is flawless, but they provide the most accurate ways currently available to track your Fortnite spending.

Fortnite is playable on various platforms, including Meta Quest 2 and 3.
