This guide details how to obtain Oni Masks in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1. Oni Masks are unique items granting special abilities: the Void Oni Mask for teleportation, and the Fire Oni Mask for ranged fire damage.

All Oni Masks and Their Abilities:

• Void Oni Mask: Throws a Void Tear (Shoot button); teleport to its location (Aim button while mask equipped). Epic variant has 15 uses, 5-second cooldown. Mythic variant has 50 uses.

• Fire Oni Mask: Launches a guided flame projectile (Fire button), dealing 100 damage. Can hit multiple enemies. Epic variant has 8 uses, 8-second cooldown. Mythic variant has 16 uses.

How to Obtain Oni Masks:

• Elemental Chests: These chests guarantee an elemental item, including Oni Masks (though which one is random). Look in named POIs for the best chances.

• Defeating Demon Warriors: These enemies, marked by an Oni Mask icon on the map, sometimes drop an Oni Mask (either Void or Fire, depending on which they wield). They also drop Typhoon Blades and Boons.

• Regular Chests: A less reliable method; regular chests have a small chance to drop Epic rarity Void and Fire Oni Masks.

• Purchase from Daigo (Masked Meadows): This is a guaranteed method. Complete Daigo's Mask Expertise Quests to unlock the ability to buy both masks from him using Gold Bars.

• Daigo's Hidden Workshop (Masked Meadows): Another guaranteed method. Locate Daigo's hidden workshop (below the building on the north side of Masked Meadows) and loot the machine containing both masks.

• Defeating Bosses (Mythic Masks Only): Defeat Night Rose (Demon's Dojo) for the Mythic Void Oni Mask, or Shogun X (Shogun's Arena) for the Mythic Fire Oni Mask. Mythic masks have more uses than their Epic counterparts.
