Geoff Keighley's The Game Awards 2024 has unveiled its nominees across 19 categories, culminating in the coveted Game of the Year (GOTY) award. This year's contenders represent a diverse range of titles, showcasing the breadth and creativity within the gaming industry.
GOTY 2024: A Tight Race
The GOTY race is particularly fierce, featuring a mix of established franchises and surprising newcomers. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth leads with multiple nominations, while Astro Bot, Balatro, Black Myth: Wukong, Metaphor: ReFantazio, and Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree round out a highly competitive field. Voting and the Ceremony
Fans can cast their votes now until December 11th via The Game Awards' official website and Discord server. The winners will be revealed during the live ceremony on December 12th at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, streamed globally on Twitch, TikTok, YouTube, and the official website.
