Genshin Impact Version 5.4: Introducing Yumemizuki Mizuki

Yumemizuki Mizuki, a new 5-Star Anemo Catalyst character from Inazuma, is set to debut in Genshin Impact's Version 5.4. Following the Natlan storyline conclusion in Version 5.3, this update offers a smaller Inazuma-focused adventure, centered around a yokai-themed Flagship Event with Yae Miko playing a prominent role.

Mizuki, heavily rumored since late 2024, joins the game as a Standard Banner character, as confirmed by the Version 5.4 beta. Gameplay-wise, she functions similarly to Sucrose, but with added healing capabilities. This makes her a valuable addition to many team compositions, particularly Taser teams.

While her official reveal on the Genshin Impact Twitter account was slightly delayed, the drip marketing campaign unveiled Mizuki's dual identity as a psychologist and the majority owner of Aisa Bathhouse, and her friendship with Yae Miko. Her introduction is likely to coincide with the Flagship Event, and a dedicated Story Quest will also be available in Version 5.4.

Yumemizuki Mizuki Details:

  • Title: Embrace of Enchanting Dreams
  • Rarity: 5-Star
  • Vision: Anemo
  • Weapon: Catalyst
  • Constellation: Tapirus Somniator

Version 5.4's Event Banners will feature Mizuki and Wriothesley in the first half, followed by Furina and Sigewinne in the second. Note that Mizuki will become a Standard Banner character after Version 5.4, prompting collectors to prioritize obtaining her Signature Weapon.

In contrast to the content-rich Version 5.3, Version 5.4 is notably smaller, including only one new character, one Story Quest, and no new map or Artifact Domain. This results in a reduced Primogem reward compared to average updates. Players should consider saving their Lantern Rite rewards for Version 5.4, particularly if they aim to acquire highly sought-after Fontaine characters like Furina or Wriothesley.
