Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium Progression Guide

In Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium, your primary objective is to swiftly complete the story campaign and elevate your Commander level to 30. Reaching this milestone unlocks essential features like PvP and Boss Fights, which offer substantial rewards. This guide outlines the steps you need to take to achieve these goals, along with tips on managing your stamina effectively.

Reroll

For free-to-play (F2P) players, rerolling is a crucial strategy to kickstart your journey in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium. At the game's launch, you have a chance to obtain Suomi through the rate-up banner. While it's possible to acquire her without rerolling, doing so may deplete your resources. Aim to reroll until you secure Suomi, alongside either Qiongjiu or Tololo from the standard or beginner’s banner. This combination will set you up for a strong start.

Push Through the Story

Your next step is to focus on the story campaign. Initially, prioritize the main missions to level up your account. You can bypass the side battles for now. The key is to keep advancing in the campaign until you reach a point where increasing your Commander level becomes necessary to proceed, then shift your focus accordingly.

Do Your Summons as Necessary

As you progress through missions, you'll accumulate summon tickets and Collapse Pieces. It's vital to use these wisely. Reserve your Collapse Pieces exclusively for rate-up banners. If you haven't obtained Suomi, channel all your resources into her banner. Otherwise, use your standard summoning tickets on the standard banner to aim for another SSR character, but save the Collapse Pieces.

Limit Break and Level Up

Your characters' levels are linked to your account level. Each time your Commander level increases, head to the Fitting Room to upgrade your Dolls and their weapons. At level 20, you'll need to gather Stock Bars to break the level cap, which you can earn by completing Supply Missions in the Campaign menu. Concentrate on enhancing your main team, ideally featuring Suomi, Qiongjiu, and/or Tololo, complemented by other strong units like Sharkry and Ksenia.

Do the Event Missions

Upon reaching level 20, you can participate in event missions. These time-limited challenges offer a new side story and rewards like Collapse Pieces and event currency. To maximize benefits, complete all Normal missions and tackle the first Hard mission daily, as these are your primary sources of event currency. Use the currency to clear out the event shop, purchasing summon tickets, Collapse Pieces, SR characters, weapons, and other valuable resources.

Dispatch Room and Affinity

Like many gacha games, Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium features an affinity system. Engage with this by visiting the Dormitory and gifting presents to your Dolls, increasing their affinity. This not only boosts their stats but also allows you to send them on Dispatch missions, which yield idle resources and Wish Coins. Wish Coins are used in a separate gacha system for pulling additional resources and potentially acquiring Perithya. Don't forget to check the Dispatch shop for summon tickets and other useful items.

Boss Fights and Combat Exercise

Focus on Boss Fights and Combat Exercise next. Boss Fights are scoring challenges where you must defeat a boss within a set number of turns, with increasing difficulty. The ideal team includes Qiongjiu, Suomi, Ksenia, and Sharkry. Combat Exercise serves as the game's PvP mode, but you won't lose points for losing defenses. Set up a weaker defense to help other players farm points while you target easy opponents to accumulate your own.

Hard Mode Campaign Missions

Once you've cleared all Normal mode campaign missions, shift your attention to Hard mode and side battles. While these don't provide Commander experience, they reward you with Collapse Pieces and summon tickets, aiding your progression further.
