Girls' Frontline 2: Global Release Lacks Crossplay

Jan 08,25

Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium's global launch is imminent! Sunborn Network's MICA Team has unveiled new details about this upcoming RPG, addressing player questions in a recent Q&A video.

Server and Launch Differences

The global launch will utilize two server platforms: Darkwinter (Sunborn subsidiary) and Haoplay (Steam). While game content remains identical, cross-server play is unavailable. Darkwinter will manage its own PC launcher.

The global release will differ from the Chinese version's launch. To refine the narrative, MICA Team will initially omit some early Chinese events, similar to Azur Lane Global's strategy. The global launch will begin with the "Sojourners of the Glass Island" event, offering the complete story from the outset. Omitted events may be added later.

Returning Favorites and Potential Crossovers

The popular Groza "Sangria Succulent" skin returns! More classic skins are also planned based on player feedback. MICA Team hinted at potential crossovers with titles like Neural Cloud and Gundam.
