Greenhouse Capacity in Stardew Valley: How Many Plants?
For seasoned *Stardew Valley* farmers, the Greenhouse is a pivotal asset in revitalizing the family farm to its former glory. Here's a detailed look at how many plants the Greenhouse can accommodate in *Stardew Valley*.
What Is the Greenhouse in Stardew Valley?
The Greenhouse, located on your farm, becomes accessible after completing the Community Centre bundles or opting for the Joja Community Development Form. This structure is a game-changer, as it bypasses the seasonal crop limitations you face outdoors. Once you've completed the six bundles in the Pantry section of the Community Centre, the Greenhouse magically restores overnight, ready for you to maximize its potential.
The interior of the Greenhouse features space around the perimeter for trees, chests, and equipment like Seed Makers. The central area comprises 10 rows and 12 columns of tillable land. However, the number of plants you can grow here depends on whether you use Sprinklers.

How Many Plants Can the Greenhouse Hold in Stardew Valley?
Without Sprinklers, the inner section can support up to 120 crops or plants, with an additional 18 fruit trees around the perimeter. Fruit trees don't require watering and will thrive as long as they have two tile spaces between them.
If you opt for Sprinklers, the number of plants you can grow will vary based on the type and placement of the Sprinklers. Sprinklers are a time-saving boon, freeing you up to tackle other tasks around Pelican Town.
Depending on the Sprinkler type and their placement (note that Sprinklers can also be placed on the wooden border), here's what you'll need to cover the entire inner section:
- Sixteen Quality Sprinklers, occupying twelve inner tiles.
- Six Iridium Sprinklers, occupying four inner tiles.
- Four Iridium Sprinklers with Pressure Nozzles, occupying two inner tiles.
- Five Iridium Sprinklers with Pressure Nozzles, occupying one inner tile.
With strategic planning, the Greenhouse can significantly enhance your farm's productivity, allowing you to grow up to 120 crops year-round.
And that's how many plants the Greenhouse can hold in *Stardew Valley*.
