GTA 5 Enhanced Edition Joins Xbox Game Pass for PC in 2 Weeks

May 30,25

Microsoft has officially confirmed that Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto V will be joining Xbox Game Pass on April 15, marking a significant addition to the platform’s Wave 1 lineup for April 2025. The enhanced version of GTA V, titled GTA 5 Enhanced, will also arrive on PC Game Pass. This news was shared via an Xbox Wire post, teasing that the game's debut will bring an exciting wave of updates for fans across both platforms.

The PC version of GTA 5 Enhanced includes the latest features released earlier this year, such as the recent Oscar Guzman Flies Again update. Players will gain access to new air-based missions, additional aircraft, and other thrilling content. According to an official statement from Xbox, regardless of the platform, everyone will enjoy the same immersive experience with the newly added gameplay elements.

This return to Game Pass marks the first time GTA V will be available on PC through the subscription service, following its previous removal. However, it's important to note that not everything is smooth sailing for longtime fans. Despite the enhancements brought by the Enhanced update, which launched on PC on March 4, the game has faced criticism from players due to ongoing issues with account migration. As of now, transferring GTA Online profiles to the updated version remains unresolved, leaving some users frustrated.

For newcomers to Los Santos, these concerns may not apply. But for returning players eager to transfer their GTA Online progress, patience is key. Until the migration problems are resolved, it seems the issue persists.

In other Rockstar-related news, while we eagerly await details about Grand Theft Auto VI, the company continues to support its modding community by providing access to official tools. Fans can also look forward to more updates regarding the full April 2025 Wave 1 lineup, which includes several exciting additions to Xbox Game Pass.
