The highly anticipated Emerald Dream expansion is set to launch in Hearthstone on March 25th, introducing a magical yet perilously twisted realm. With 145 new cards, fresh mechanics, and legendary Wild Gods, players are in for an enchanting journey.

What’s Happening in This Expansion?

Ysera's serene domain, the epicenter of Nature magic, faces a dire threat. Players have the choice to either safeguard its splendor or succumb to the ensuing turmoil.

The new keyword for the Into the Emerald Dream expansion is Imbue. If you play as a Druid, Hunter, Mage, Paladin, Priest, or Shaman, you'll receive blessings from the World Tree. The first time you play an Imbue card, your Hero Power transforms into a more potent version, customized to your class. Each subsequent Imbue card played further enhances your Hero Power. For instance, Hunters benefit from the Blessing of the Wolf, while other classes can only watch with envy, as Imbue has no effect if you're not part of the chosen six.

Alternatively, if you're drawn to a darker path, the Old Gods offer Dark Gifts, a new keyword that corrupts Death Knight, Demon Hunter, Rogue, Warlock, and Warrior players with tempting, raw power. These twisted enhancements align with Discover options, enabling you to summon nightmare-fueled minions that can unleash chaos. The expansion includes 10 different Dark Gifts.

The expansion also introduces The Wild Gods, legendary minions that embody colossal forces of nature. Each class is granted one to champion, with some already succumbing to corruption, creating a fascinating divide between those defending the Dream and those seeking to plunge it into Nightmare.
