New Heroes and Skills Unveiled in Deadlock

Since its launch in mid-2024, Valve's much-anticipated MOBA shooter, Deadlock, has consistently topped Steam's Most Wishlisted games list. With regular weekly updates keeping the community buzzing, the recent "10-24-2024" update stands out as the most significant to date, introducing six exciting new heroes for players to explore and test within the game.

These new additions—Calico, Fathom (previously known as Slork), Holliday (also referred to as Astro in their skill descriptions), Magician, Viper, and Wrecker—are currently exclusive to the Hero Sandbox mode. While players can't yet access them in casual or ranked PvP matches, their kits have been added, though some Skills are still placeholders, such as Magician’s ultimate ability, which is a copy of Paradox’s Paradoxical Swap.

Calico	An agile and sneaky mid-to-frontline hero, designed to strike from the sidelines while remaining unseen and uncatchable.
Fathom	A short-ranged burst assassin, perfect for all-in dive engagements and quickly taking out key targets.
Holliday	A mid-to-long-ranged DPS/Assassin who excels at obliterating enemies from a distance with headshots and explosives.
Magician	A tactical, long-ranged DPS capable of bending projectiles, teleporting, and swapping positions with both allies and enemies.
Viper	A mid-to-long-ranged burst assassin who can envenom bullets to deal damage over time and petrify groups of enemies.
Wrecker	A mid-to-close range brawler who turns troopers and NPCs into scrap and projectiles for their Skills, dominating close encounters.
