Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.7: "A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn" Launches, Concluding the Penacony Chapter

Honkai: Star Rail's Version 2.7 update, titled "A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn," has arrived, bringing the Penacony chapter to a close. This update introduces new characters, events, and features before the Astral Express journeys to Amphoreus, the Eternal Land.

Two new 5-star characters join the roster:

• Sunday: An Imaginary-type support character boosting ally damage and summons, with an ultimate skill providing regeneration and further damage enhancements.
• Fugue: A reimagined 5-star Fire-type Tingyun, specializing in shattering enemy defenses and increasing squadmates' Break Effect damage.

The limited Warp event also features the return of popular characters Jing Yuan and Firefly. Version 2.7 also adds quality-of-life improvements, including a relaxing Party Car and customizable Trailblazer quarters accessible via the Cosmic Home Décor Guide event. Future updates are planned, including Version 3.0, which will refine the Relic system, continue the Path of Remembrance storyline, and introduce new memosprites. Players can even claim a free 5-star character through the Gift of the Express event (available until Version 3.2).
