Honkai: Star Rail's Version 3.1, "Light Slips the Gate, Shadow Greets the Throne," launches February 26th, escalating the Flame-Chase Journey with new challenges and mysteries.

New 5-Star Characters Join the Fray

Version 3.1 introduces two new 5-star characters: Tribbie and Mydei. Following the securing of Nikador's Coreflame, players venture to the Grove of Epiphany, a new map, to rescue survivors and unravel the catastrophe's truth. The quest continues with the retrieval of Cerces' Coreflame to restore hope to Okhema.

The narrative delves into the Abyss of Fate (formerly Janusopolis), now revealed in its Day State, exploring the Era Chrysea's forgotten history and Tribbie's past. Tribbie (Tribios), the Holy Maiden of Janusopolis, is a 5-star Quantum character following the Path of Harmony, tasked with spreading a prophecy of Deliverance.

Mydei, Castrum Kremnos' crown prince, is a fierce 5-star Imaginary character following the Path of Destruction. His combat style involves sacrificing HP to power up, entering an enhanced state with automatic enemy attacks during his turns.

Returning Characters and Events

Limited 5-star characters Yunli and Huohuo are returning; Yunli in the first half, Huohuo in the second half of the warp event.

The Divergent Universe event returns with a research focus on Amphoreus and a new Day/Night battle system, altering combat with time-dependent buffs and effects.

"The Awooo Firm" event casts players as managers assisting Okhema's chimera squad.
