Capcom's latest Monster Hunter title shattered records just 30 minutes after its Steam release, boasting over 675,000 concurrent players and quickly surpassing 1 million. This marks not only the most successful launch in Monster Hunter history, but also Capcom's most successful game launch ever, eclipsing Monster Hunter: World's 2018 record of 334,000 concurrent players and Monster Hunter Rise's 2022 figure of 230,000. Despite this impressive achievement, the game's Steam release has faced criticism due to reported technical issues, including bugs and crashes.

Monster Hunter Wilds offers a self-contained narrative, making it a perfect entry point for newcomers to the series. Players explore the mysterious Forbidden Lands, battling dangerous creatures and encountering the legendary "White Ghost," a mythical beast, and enigmatic Guardians, who add layers of intrigue to the game's story.
