After navigating the Sacred Wounds puzzle and escaping the Underground section beneath the Vatican, Indiana Jones uses a scroll found in the Giant's tomb to guide him to the next challenge—the Fountain of Confession. As you progress, remember to photograph every sign, statue, and mural to earn Adventure Points, which can be used to enhance your skills later.

To reach the Fountain of Confession, exit Antonio's office and follow the waypoints on your map in the journal. You'll find a set of stairs in the outside courtyard leading to the puzzle's starting point.

The first step involves approaching a chest near a construction area to the right of the fountain. Inside, you'll find the fountain key, which grants access to the adjacent storage room.

Once inside the storage room, use Indy's whip to rappel to the building's top and swing across to a window, returning you to the fountain's exterior. Here, you'll encounter two dragon statues facing forward. Start by swinging to the second dragon statue and grab the protruding dragon claw to activate a lever.

Use the lever to adjust the dragon statue's direction, aligning it to face its counterpart on the opposite side. Repeat this process with the first dragon, but you'll find its claw missing. Look down to the left of the scaffolding to spot the detached claw. As you rappel down to retrieve it, a cutscene with Gina Lombardi will interrupt, causing Indy to fall.
