The possibility of a BioShock movie becoming a reality remains uncertain. Last July, producer Roy Lee mentioned that the project had undergone significant changes due to leadership shifts at Netflix, resulting in a "reconfigured" and "more personal" film. Lee noted that budget cuts had influenced the project, but details about the plot remain under wraps. Francis Lawrence, known for directing the Hunger Games series, is still set to direct the film.

In the same Reddit AMA, Quaid acknowledged his striking resemblance to Max Payne, the video game character modeled after Remedy writer Sam Lake. Fans have even speculated that scenes from Quaid's new action movie, Novocaine, resemble a Max Payne film. Quaid admitted to the resemblance but confessed he has yet to play Max Payne, which is currently being remade by Remedy in collaboration with Rockstar.

Beyond BioShock, Quaid revealed his passion for FromSoftware's challenging games.
