Jump King, the 2D platformer known for its challenging gameplay and being a true test of patience, has now made its way to mobile devices. Developed by Nexile and published by UKIYO Publishing, the game has been released globally for both Android and iOS users following a successful soft launch in the UK, Canada, the Philippines, and Denmark back in March. Originally launched on PC in 2019 and on consoles in 2020, Jump King brings its signature brutal jumping mechanics to the mobile platform.

What’s Jump King on Mobile Like?

In Jump King, you take on the role of an armored character whose sole purpose is to jump. Sounds simple, right? Think again. Each jump requires precision and timing, as a single misstep sends you plummeting back to the start. The game auto-saves after every jump, making every decision critical. Your ultimate goal is to reach the top and meet the Smoking Hot Babe of Legend, but don’t expect any favors—she won’t offer any shortcuts. One wrong jump, and it’s back to square one.

The mobile version maintains the game’s challenging nature with controls tailored for touchscreens. To jump, you simply hold to charge and release to leap. It’s a test of precision, patience, and sometimes, panic as you make split-second decisions.

What Else Should You Know?

Jump King Mobile operates on a heart-based system, starting you off with 300 hearts. Each fall costs you a heart, but you can replenish your supply by spinning a daily fortune wheel, which can award you between 10 and 150 hearts. Alternatively, you can watch ads to gain up to 150 free hearts when you run out.

The mobile version also includes two full expansions: New Babe+, which adds a second chapter with a unique and intense new path, and Ghost of the Babe, which introduces a haunting third act set in a desolate landscape beyond the Philosopher’s Forest.
