Back in July 2024, Conroy's voice work in Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths: Part 3 received widespread acclaim, making it all the more special that fans will get another opportunity to experience his remarkable talent following his passing in November 2022 at the age of 66. The series also stars Scout Taylor-Compton as Mary, Hoon Lee as White Rabbit, Chris Coppola as Enzo, and Johnny Yong Bosch taking on the role of the protagonist, Dante.

According to the official synopsis from Netflix, "Sinister forces are at play to open the portal between the human and demon realms. In the middle of it all is Dante, an orphaned demon-hunter-for-hire, unaware that the fate of both worlds hangs around his neck."

Adi Shankar, known for his executive producing roles on the 2012 films Dredd and Killing Them Softly, as well as 2014's The Voices, will serve as the showrunner for this highly anticipated series. Shankar is also set to executive produce an adaptation of Assassin’s Creed, though its long-awaited release remains uncertain. The acclaimed South Korean studio, Studio Mir, responsible for hits like The Legend of Korra and X-Men ‘97, will handle the production of Devil May Cry. Mark your calendars, as the series is slated to premiere on Netflix on April 3, 2025.
