The popular mobile beat 'em up ARPG, King of Fighters ALLSTAR, is shutting down on October 30th, 2024. Netmarble, the game's developer, made the announcement on their official forums. In-app purchases have already been disabled.

This closure comes as a surprise, considering the game's six-year run and numerous successful collaborations with other prominent fighting game franchises. The developer cited a lack of new fighters to adapt from the King of Fighters roster as a contributing factor to the decision, though this is likely not the sole reason.
