Kingdom Come: Repair Cracked Shoes

Feb 22,25

Maintaining footwear is crucial in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. This guide details how to acquire and repair shoes to avoid the inconvenience of going barefoot.

Acquiring Shoes:

While you begin the game with a pair, replenishing your footwear is simple. Several methods exist:

  • Looting: Search chests and fallen enemies (poachers, etc.) for potential shoe finds.
  • Purchasing: Tailors sometimes sell shoes, though often with inferior stats. For better quality, seek out cobblers. These are identifiable on the map by a symbol resembling three red circles. One is located early in the game in Trosky. Cobblers, like Cobbler Matthew, may also sell horse equipment and crafting kits.

Repairing Shoes:

Two options exist for shoe repair:

  • NPC Repair: Cobblers and blacksmiths offer repair services. The cost varies, potentially reduced by Craftsmanship skill perks.
  • Self-Repair: Requires a Cobbler's Kit and sufficient Craftsmanship skill. Kits can be purchased from various vendors or found through looting and chests. Open your inventory, select the kit, and use the interact button ("E" on PC) to access the repair menu. Faded items indicate insufficient skill to repair them.

Remember, Blacksmith's Kits function similarly for repairing other equipment. While vendor repairs are always available, maintaining a high Craftsmanship skill offers significant cost savings and self-sufficiency.
